Health & Safety.

 

No child is to be left unsupervised by staff or parent. There is to be no rough playing or running in the building except for directed physical activity. Emergency telephone numbers and names of persons trained in first aid and CPR are posted in classrooms. The center staff has access to a working telephone at all times.

The fire emergencies and weather alert plans are posted in the classrooms. Fire and storm drills are held monthly and the record is kept in the administrators office. 

Please be mindful of parking lot safety making sure we hold our childrens hands while teaching safety. Please consider there may be children that cannot be seen from your vehicle, so please maintain a safe speed limit while driving through the parking lot.

COVID POLICY:

Due to COVID, many policies have been changed within our facility. During the COVID-19 pandemic period, our Health Check & Illness Policy (both COVID and Non-COVID provisions) applies to all staff, children and their household members. All staff, families, children and their household members must conduct a daily health check before coming into the center. Should you or any household member have any of the following COVID-19-like symptoms, we ask you remain out of the center and notify the center:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea
